Description:
Chateauneuf-du Pape La Bernardine is part of the Chapoutier family tradition since 1808. The vinification of the three grapes, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, is carried out in the traditional way in concrete tanks following fermentation of three weeks on a high temperature to make sure that both tannin and colour are well expressed and enhanced.
Ageing Potential: 20 Years
Tasting Note:
Full bodied, dry with excellent weight of rich, ripe blackberry fruits with smoky tones. Quite intense, inky and warm with a touch of spice. Still a very young wine, with great length and capable of ageing. Delicious.
