Description:
Château Begadan is located between Begadan, the small rural town which gave its name to the Château and Valeyrac, along the Garonne river. Here the Médoc’s poor gravel soil is perfect for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, the back-bone of the wines of the Médoc.
Tasting Note:
Tasting note: On the nose, there are aromas of fresh raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, forest floor and an elegant minerality. Well-balanced and full bodied on the palate with smooth tannins and a good length. A classic Médoc that would be fantastic with a traditional Sunday Roast, mushroom risotto or a selection of aged cheeses.
