The Barton stable had a terrific 2023. Priced at €220 In Bond per 6x75cl.
In 2023, Langoa Barton is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc offering a refreshing nose of red little berries and floral notes. On the palate the profile is much rounder with rich and lovely density, tannins are velvety and nicely coating the palate with generous darker fruit. It offers a vibrant and sophisticated length. This should be approachable younger than Léoville but age equally beautifully.
