Description:
Located in the northern part of the Sancerre vineyard, in the village of Sainte-Gemme-en-Sancerrois, the Domaine des Sardelles is a family estate producing terroir-driven wines in the Sancerre appellation and within the Val de Loire IGP.

With a focus on respecting the plant material, our terroir, and our wines, we adopt a minimally interventionist approach both in the vineyard and the cellar. Our vineyard is also currently undergoing a conversion towards organic agriculture.

In line with our commitment to respecting the fruit and pursuing quality, our harvests are entirely carried out by hand.

Tasting Note:
Sancerre, Loire, France- This elegant wine shows notes of mineral, citrus, and tropical fruit. Yielding from hand harvested grapes, this old-vine wine is aged on the lees giving layers of complexity which result in a truly refined expression of Sauvignon Blanc.

The iconic cuvée of the estate under the Sancerre appellation, this 100% Sauvignon is a blend sourced from several hand-harvested plots with deep clay-limestone soils.

Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and aged on lees for 6 to 8 months, this process maintains the Sauvignon Blanc's crispness and liveliness while adding depth to its texture.

A wine that embodies freshness, intertwining delicate notes of white flowers, peach, and green apple. Best enjoyed at 8-10°C within 2 to 3 years of bottling.
