With old Syrah and Grenache vines, Benoit Viot pursues his dream and achieves with this cuvée one of the jewels in Pic Saint-Loup. The climate is of great amplitude with cool nights. The soils are made of limestone, conglomerates of rolled pebbles, northwest slopes, setting sun. The wine is aged 1 year in new barrels (30%) and 2 and 3 wines. It is absolutely superb, it is fine, structured, powerful without being too much, and very elegant. Perfect with a roast beef.
Le Chemin des Rêves is located 10 km northwest of Montpellier. The name of the Domaine Viticole comes from a small path bordering the vineyards. The owner, a former pharmacist, fell in love with the vineyards and decided to build the winery, an estate that comprises 20 hectares of vines, spread over two terroirs in the Languedoc PDO: Pic Saint Loup and Grés de Montpellier, which has been labeled organic since November 2017.
