Hacienda Lopez de Haro Rosado is a rose wine from Rioja produced by Bodega Classica. This winery is located in the region of Sonsierra in Rioja Alta.
Hacienda Lopez de Haro Rosado is a wine made from Tempranillo (50%) and Grenache (50%).
The vineyards from which the grapes come are very old, between 40 and 90 years old. The vineyards also are very low production and are planted on drained clay-calcareous soils, which, according to the cellar, are ideal for growing Tempranillo.
The development of Hacienda Lopez de Haro Rosado begins in October, during this month, the grapes are harvested by hand and immediately transported to the winery in 15kg boxes.
A maceration of between 24 and 48 hours at about 10 ° C is performed. The tank is tapped and pink wort is extracted naturally.
After the extraction, the wine is fermented for 20 days at a temperature of 10-12 ° C.
Tasting Note:
Colour: Clean pale pink.
Nose: Intense wine, highlighting red fruits and banana aromas as well as featuring some floral notes.
Palate: Silky and pleasant wine with great balance, resulting at the same time generous and fresh.
