"A more elegant and slightly cooler nose reflects notes of white flower, pear and discreet lemon peel aromas. There is fine volume to the delicious middleweight flavours that possess an abundance of mouthcoating sap that also serves to buffer the moderately firm acid spine on the youthfully austere, lemon zest-inflected and long finale. This is a lovely Puligny villages that could be approached young or aged to good effect over the mid-term."
Tasting Note:
The nose opens with elegant notes of citrus, green apple and a touch of minerality, completed by nuances of vanilla and toasting deriving from the passage in wood. These aromas translate into a rich and complex palate, where fresh fruit is balanced by lively acidity and a creamy structure. The finish is long and sophisticated, with a persistence of mineral hints that enhances the purity and elegance typical of the Puligny-Montrachet terroir.
