The Pascal Renaud estate is a family estate located in Pouilly , a small village in Burgundy located at the foot of the famous Solutré rock .
The Pouilly-Fuissé “Vieilles Vignes” wine is a blend of about 15 plots.
These vines are all at least 65 years old and produce a rich and concentrated wine, but which must be kept for about 18 months.
The Pouilly-Fuissé “Vieilles Vignes” wine can be drunk from the first year , but it is strongly recommended to wait a few years .
Tasting Note:
Classic style of Chardonnay wine from this long standing family estate in Fuisse. Mineral on the nose with citrus fruit flavour to give a complex and very well-balanced wine. Fine aromas of warm apple and apricot with good weight and a creamy texture. Good length of flavour. Excellent wine with classic fish dishes.
