Excellent example of a 100% Sauvignon Vin de Pays from this famed region of the Loire at a fraction of the price of its big brother Sancerre AC. Dry and full-bodied with a lemon and honey twist.
Pleasing fresh Sauvignon Blanc from its native region of the Loire Valley made on the wine-geese estate of the Marquis de Goulaine who is descended from the Galway O’ Briens. A gooseberry, apple and elderflower bouquet of flavours with zingy acidity and a textured freshness.
Tasting Note:
Pale lemon gold wine with good viscosity and youthful aromas of gooseberries and asparagus. A dry wine , broad on the palate with excellent fruit support, crisp acidity and good length and balance.
