Fine mature example of Portuguese winemaking. This is a full bodied robust rich red wine. Dry with excellent structure and lots of black cherry fruits. Lots of mineral and earthy tones combine with sweet spicy fruits to give an elegant wine which is drinking perfectly now.
Tasting Note:
Deep ruby / garnet coloured wine with complex aromas of sweet spice, figs and bramble fruits. Dry with soft mellow tannins, lovely weight of mature autumn berries with cigar box and vanilla tones. Long lingering finish with excellent weight and balance.
